My next significant project in Computer Apps is making my Summer Vacation Project. This project taught me to use google maps and other distance and time websites. The main obsical I have to Dconcore is finding and booking all of my hotels, flights, car rentals and activites. I used Google Drive to put it together . If I could change the project I would give the students an unlimited budget.

If I could change the project I would make it not have to be inatimate objects.

Another big project in Computer Apps was the Human Cloning Podcast we had. The impact it had on my learning was large, it made me teach myself to find reliable sources on a not so reliable subject. An obstical was the sources I had to find. I developed it on iMovie and Garage Band. If I could change anything on the project it would have to be the time limit. I would lengthen the time limit by at least 2 days.

My next significant project in Computer Apps is making a Lays' Commercial. This project doesn't really teach me anyting that I don't already know. The main obsical I have to concore is getting along with my group I am stuck with. We are using iMovie to make the movie. If I could change the project I would make it not have a video time limit.

Um... NO!

The best part of the Summer Vacation Project is the experience that I get with the use of powerpoint and excel. The worst part is having to find all of the prices and milage.

If I were 10 years older and talking to my teenage self in Computer Apps I would tell my self to get work done early so that my life would be better.

This is about my many faces over time in Computer Apps.

If I could change something about computer apps I would make it an elective class not a required class.

One thing that is going on in my life is we are packing up and building a new house about two hours away from Pierce. I'M GETTING OUT OF HERE!

One thing I like about Excel is that it helps you better organize everything and it does my math for me. One thing I don't like is, it is very complicated.

One of the most amazing things some one has ever done for me is my dad helping and teaching me how to build stuff like a 30x32 ft shop and numerous wood working building techniques such as tables. My favorite by far is my dad teaching me how to build an AR-15.

The word assesment was pretty easy yesterday up to the table part of hte assignment, I was not able to finish it.

The speaker today was by far the best speaker Pierce has had this year. He had a lot of experiences that just about everybody could relate to. And his success is just incredible.

There are a few reasons why you want to be careful with what you post because if you post any personal information hacker groups could share all of your information with the rest of the world and you will be a poor hobo with no more money or an identity.

Being an aware digital citizen entails to me is you are checking the new constantly and being aware of your surroundings. I would like to be a digital citizen because I like to be aware of my surroundings so that I know what to expect.

         Some changes about school lunch that I do not like is porportions. For lunch you get almost nothing. We do not have salt. Some new stuff I would like is more food and salt.

                    Airsoft. Airsoft is a pass time where you have two or more teams over a large field or building. Each team start on either side of the field or building. The refs, usually in a red or orange shirts, start a count down. When the match starts each team charges to try to eliminate eliminate all of the other team. The team with the most players at the end of the match win. There are many different game types. There is capture the flag, team death match, free for all, etc. Similar to call of duty exept with .6mm bb guns that look very real. If you can name a gun it is probably an airsoft gun too. They have an airsoft gun that looks like the Ruger 10/22 and one the looks like the GM M134 Minigun. The price range on a gun can cost any where from 15 dollars to 3,900 dollars. The equiptment for airsoft (face protection, chest rig/plate carrier, knee pads, BDU's, shoes/boots, hydration carriers, guns) also known as your load-out is another very important part of airsoft. For one you look really awesome, two it has a purpose. If you have your loadout put together properly you should look cool and be able to reload your airsoft gun quickly and efficiently.

Lets talk about more survival stuff. How to make fire. There are many ways that you can make a fire, wether it be chemical, friction, or impact. An impact fire example could be flint and steel. First you put some charcloth on a piece of flint rock and strike it with a piece of steel until the charcloth catches a spark then put in tinder bundle. Friction example would be a bow drill. And finally chemical. An example would be brake fluid and Cl.

               The weather today is supposed to be pretty nice today. For January its pretty warm with a high of 59 degrees. So I asked my teacher if we could have class outside today and as you might think she said no. Then she asked if we were in third grade. So yeah good weather today.

I have learned a few things in Computer Apps. Mostly how to work iTunes adn how to make a smart playlist.

One of my favorite five things is Airsofting. What airsofting is, is a few teams of a few people that shoot the other team untill there is nobody else.

Most of the music in my iTunes library is hip hop/rap, but I have more metal that hip hop/rap. My favorite artists are Five Finger Death Punch, Linkin Park, and Eminem. Between those three bands they take up over half of my inventory. I use my iTunes mostly to sync with my iPod. I use my iPod when I do my homework and workout. I do not like country music since they are all singing about the same thing. Ex: Dog, muddy truck, and their tractors. So I only listen to rock.

I am 15 years old in the picture above. At that moment I was thinking of hunting, survival gear, and the great outdoors. I like the Realtree Xtra camo, that I am wearing in the picture.

                    This is my first post and Mrs. B said to write about anything so I will write about survival. YOLO right? Exactly so lets keep that life living. Tip 1: Keep a pocket kit, a pocked kit usually consists of a (preferably water proof) container. This container will hold the rest of your gear. The second thing that you will need is at least 2 ways to start a fire including tinder ("Bic" lighter, "Wet Fire"). Fire is one of the most important ways to stay alive, it can scare away most any predatory animal, it can keep you warm, it can boil your water which we will go over later, and it can cook your food. The third thing that you will need is a signaling/ navigation group usually including mirror, flashlight, whistle, and two compasses. Why two the second compass is just for making sure the other one is correct. Then you will need a repair/ food gathering group which includes: duct tape, safety pins, sewing needles and thread, fish hooks/ lures, fishing string and small bobbers. You will also need a first aid group: bandaids, alcohol wipes, and toilet paper. Then you will also need at least two ways to purify water, personally I use water purification tablets, and a way to boil the water. Finally you will need any kind of cutting tool, like a knife, a razor blade, or axe. Well that should do it for you pocket kit, so pack it and keep one in every vehicle. Peace out.
